Labs, Inc. uses state-of-the-art equipment
and technologies to produce highly accurate analytical services
and reports. All of our environmental lab personnel possess
certifications, degrees and skills that are far beyond those
required to work in a certified environmental lab. Our staff
currently hold degrees in chemistry, computers & networking,
education, mathematics, microbiology, physics and soil
chemistry. |

Samples are tracked on a
Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) that was
developed in-house to specifically meet the electronic data
transfer and reporting requirements of the states of Oregon and
Washington. Because of the staff in our Technology Department,
KTL was selected as test lab site and allowed to electronically
upload sample data directly into the State of Washington
Department of Health's mainframe information system for drinking
water (DWAIN). Only two labs in the state of Washington have
ever been allowed to upload data directly into DWAIN. |

Results are available within 7 to
10 working days after KTL receives a sample. A 3 to 5 day RUSH
service or a 1 to 3 day PRIORTY service is available for an
additional fee. Results can be mailed, faxed, phoned, e-mailed
and sent via peer-to-peer computer connections if desired.
A unique service that we offer to
our major customers is the placement of a complete computer
system and laser printer on their site. These systems are
linked directly to our laboratory headquarters and the customer
sample results are uploaded, via pcANYWHERE, within moments
after the reports are finished at KTL.
